Maria Zielinska’s professional work was preceded by her intensive study of the arts at the High School of Arts and then her focus on oil-painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poland.
Her large-scale oil paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout the US and abroad, and are included in collections across the US, Poland, Germany, France, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia. Presently Maria and her paintings are represented by “Trove Gallery” in Park City.
Maria’s latest adventure with physical mediums through sculpture began by creating six feet tall bronze figure, which she named; “Santa Maria del Fiore” - inspired by a previous visit to Florence, Italy and witnessing its culture woven directly through the landscape of the city thanks to it's expressive figures, the work is directly tied to it's surrounding landscape and physical placement. The sculpture was commissioned by the Saint Mary of Assumption Church in Park City, Utah in 2016. This single experience has ignited a newfound passion for sculpting and a series of new sculptural explorations in Maria, which perfectly complement her continued life-long expressions in painting.
